The Scottish Police Authority and Police Scotland hosted a virtual roundtable event on Thursday 10 February 2022. The theme was: ‘New and Emerging Technologies in Policing’. You can watch the event on this page.

Many considerations will inform the adoption of new and emerging technologies across policing in Scotland in the years to come; this roundtable event explored some. It drew on past experiences and lessons learned.

The roundtable sought to understand experiences from outside of Scotland and from other sectors. It also considered key public interest areas, and recent public opinion data at the Scotland-wide level.
