On Thursday 9 September 2021, the Scottish Police Authority and Police Scotland convened a roundtable that brought key partners and academics together. It considered the policing of protests connected with COP26 in Glasgow. The event was available to view live online by members of the public and you can watch a recording on this page.
The event aimed to demonstrate Police Scotland’s commitment to protecting people’s right to protest or counter-protest, balanced against the rights of the wider community.
