Report Summary
This report provides members of the Audit, Risk & Assurance Committee with an overview of the SPA Whistleblowing Annual Update.
The purpose of this paper is to demonstrate how the ARAC discussion in January 2021 influenced
the approach to the annual update. To outline the overall outcome and planned actions for 2021/22 as a
result of the recent SPA self-assessment against the Whistleblowing Commission Code of Practice and to
provide an update in relation to the outcome of the six monthly assurance process.
