Report Summary
This report fulfils a number of the Authority’s specific requirements under the public
sector equality duty. This ensures that public authorities consider how they can positively contribute to a more equal society through advancing equality and good relations in their day-to-day business. The report provides a two-yearly update on progress made to make the general equality duty integral to the exercise of our functions, commonly referred to as mainstreaming, and progress made against our equality outcomes for 2017-2021 prior to them being refreshed from 2021 onwards.
