Background
The SPA has a statutory duty to agree its annual budget for the coming financial year (2025-26) before the end of the current financial year (31 March 2025).
The Scottish Government’s 2025-26 draft budget was announced on 4 December 2024 and the Scottish Budget Bill was passed in Parliament on 25 February 2025.
Details of the proposed budget and confirmed funding allocations are included in the draft budget report at appendix A.
