Financial Implications
Continued use of police drones, for tasking traditionally carried out by the helicopter, will provide cost savings. Drones have limitations specifically in terms of mandatory restrictions of operation. They also cannot undertake tasking such as vehicle pursuits or transport of personnel and equipment.
