Equalities Implications
There are equalities implications in this report. An Equality and Human Rights Impact Assessment (EqHRIA) has been undertaken to ensure that the potential impact on equality and human rights has been proactively considered in the SPA Complaints Handling Procedures. In general terms, this guidance is anticipated to provide a positive impact by ensuring the complaints process is more accessible. The mitigating actions within the EqHRIA are focused on ensuring the processes in place to support accessibility are as effective as possible and that consideration is given to further improvements as part of the development of the SPA external website. The EqHRIA will be published, along with the revised procedures, on the SPA website.
