Report Summary

This report provides members of the Policing Performance Committee with an overview of Disaggregation Analysis of Scottish Crime and Justice Survey Data regarding Public Confidence in Policing.  

This paper provides a summary analysis of available variances in response to a number of public confidence related questions about policing in the Scottish Crime and Justice Survey, in the most recent data set from
2017/18 and in prior editions of the survey. The analysis identifies the main variations from the national level results in relation to a range of factors including social, demographic, economics and geographic.
