Report Summary

This report provides members of the Scottish Police Authority Resources Committee with an overview of the changes to the Standing Orders Relating to Contracts in the following areas: Administrative update to procurement thresholds in accordance with SPPN 5/2023 as required by GPA rules and makes a recommend to the SPA Board that the authority to Review, Suspend, Vary and Revoke the Standing Orders Relating to Contracts now be approved by the Resources Committee with no requirement to be further approved by the SPA Board.

It has been proposed that the authority to Review, Suspend, Vary and Revoke the Standing Orders Relating to Contracts now be approved by the Resources Committee with no requirement to be further approved by the Authority.
