Implications

FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS

Reform funding required to deliver this project was approved via the FBC and SPA Accountable Officer in line with Investment Governance. The anticipated spend for 2023/24 is c. £185k.

Police Scotland costs are offset by Home Office grant funding. Funding is available to all Forces between FY 2022/23 and 2024/25.

Although future annual running costs are expected to decrease, there will be a period of dual running of PNC and LEDS for approximately two years. The Home Office and NPPC are yet to confirm revised payment schedules, an indicative revenue value was applied within the FBC Financial Case.
