This report describes how the Authority has had regard to island communities in carrying out its functions over the period April 2022 - March 2023.


Section 3

What other steps has your organisation taken for those policies for which an ICIA was not required (under the Section 10(b)(ii) assessment).

To demonstrate better compliance with Section 10 of the Act, during 2023-24 the Authority will put in place a process to systematically review all SPA policies.

This will include documented consideration of public body duties at the screening and review stage, and whether a relevant impact assessment is appropriate or not required.
