This report provides members of the Complaints and Conduct Committee with an update on the SPA's Independent Review of Complaints Handling, Investigations & Misconduct Issues in Relation to Policing. 

The report provides an update the Committee on work being progressed to address recommendations arising from the Review of Complaints Handling, Investigations and Misconduct Issues in Relation to Policing, led by Dame Elish Angiolini, and to seek approval to submit preliminary report recommendation 17 for discharge via national governance structures.
