Mental Health

Mental Health Awareness Week took place during May with the overall theme for this year being anxiety. The Health and Wellbeing team worked closely with corporate communications on a series of articles across the week which aimed to inform and empower our officers and staff to take action regarding not only their own mental health but that of those around them. Articles touched on a range of subjects relating to maintaining positive mental health and reminders on where you can get further information and support if you are experiencing negative mental health. A key focus was the lived experience of a Front-line officer, the impact of traumatic exposure and how taking proactive action can provide you with support.
