New Roof for Howden Hall laboratory
After many years of problems with the roof on the Howden Hall laboratory work has now started to replace it completely. Police Scotland’s Estates are project managing the work – which is being carried out in three stages, so the laboratory can remain open for business throughout the work.
There has been constructive engagement throughout the planning process with Police Scotland Estates and the contractors and it is hoped the work can be completed before the end of the calendar year – subject to the weather. This engagement has also emphasised the importance of the health, safety and wellbeing of all
Forensic Services staff and contractors on the site.
