Request
I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act to request the following information on missing people with fatal outcomes during in the last four yours. Please can you provide the below in either an Excel spreadsheet or Word document (or both if that is easier)/
1. Between 2021 and 2024 how many missing person reports were filled
2. Of those missing persons reports how many of those people were found dead (i.e. fatal outcomes).
3. Of those ‘fatal outcomes’ please can you specify how many were treated as “suspicious” versus how many were treated as “not suspicious”
• RE Q3. Can you specify how many fatal outcomes involving ethnic minorities (Black, Asian, and other Minority Ethnics) were treated as “suspicious” versus how many were treated as “non suspicious”
• RE Q3 Can you specify how many fatal outcomes involving non-ethnic minorities were treated as “suspiscious” how many were treated as non-suspiscious
• RE Q3 Can you specify how many fatal outcomes involving people aged under 30 were treated as “suspscious” vs “non-suspiscious”
