Request
What is the current Police Scotland process for responding to unaccompanied asylum seekers who present at PS premises and state that they are under the age of 18? Please include any formal procedures or SOPs governing this process.
On 21 February we sought clarification that your request was intended for the Scottish Police Authority as it refers to Police Scotland. We advised that the Authority does not hold information on operational policing matters and provided assistance in the way of a link to Police Scotland’s policies and procedures available on their website. On 27 February you responded to confirm that you wished the Authority to process your request.
