The Scottish Police Authority does not hold the information you have requested. Therefore, this represents a notice in terms of Section 17 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 - Information not held.
To explain, the Scottish Police Authority, Police Scotland and the Police Investigations and Reviews Commissioner (PIRC) all have a role to play in considering relevant complaints, as defined under the Police, Public Order and Criminal Justice (Scotland) Act 2006.
The Scottish Police Authority are responsible for handling relevant complaints about:
- A Board member of the Authority
- A staff member of the Authority (including Forensic Services staff)
- The Authority itself (for example quality of service, policies or procedures)
- Assistant Chief Constable
- Deputy Chief Constable
- Chief Constable
Police Scotland is responsible for handling complaints about police staff working for Police Scotland. Information may be available by contacting Police Scotland. Requests can be submitted to - foi@scotland.police.uk
