Issued 19 May 2023, this FOI response confirms that information on time spent by officers attending Royal Edinburgh Hospital with vulnerable adults is not held by the Scottish Police Authority. Advice is provided that Police Scotland may hold information.

Are you able to provide any estimates of the annual time spent (over the 2022 or the last financial year or any period for which you have information) by Police Officers attending the Royal Edinburgh Hospital with vulnerable adults and waiting with them for assessment?

ie the total man hours waiting at the hospital before the Officers are able to leave.
