FOI 2023-007 - Officers accused of sexual assault/rape - Information not held by SPA

Report Summary

Issued 23 January, this FOI response advises that information on numbers of officers accused of rape/sexual assault who were prosecuted, remained on duty, took early retirement, is not held by the Scottish Police Authority. Advice is provided that Police Scotland may hold information.

The Scottish Police Authority provides governance and oversight of policing in Scotland and does not hold information on operational policing matters.

Therefore, the Authority does not hold the information you have requested, and this represents a notice in terms of Section 17 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 - Information not held.
