FOI 2023-002 - Crime statistics - Information not held by SPA

Report Summary

Issued 9 January 2023, this FOI response advises that information on numbers of arrests for drug related charges between 2019 and 2022 is not held by the Scottish Police Authority. Advice is provided that Police Scotland may hold information and a link provided to recorded crime statistics published by Scottish Government.

The Authority does not hold the information you have requested. Therefore, this represents a notice in terms of Section 17 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 - Information not held.

The Scottish Police Authority provides governance and oversight of policing in Scotland and does not hold information on operational policing matters including recorded crime statistics.
