This report provides members of the Policing Performance Committee with an overview of Police Scotland's Custody Update. 

The purpose of this paper is to provide an update in relation to Police Scotland’s Custody and wider Criminal Justice response during to the coronavirus pandemic. The national policing response to the pandemic is
managed under the banner of Operation Talla. The paper covers changes to our operating model, Health and Safety considerations as well as the introduction of new approaches and innovative technology to better manage demand enabled by emergency legislation.
