Beyond Black History Month
I was delighted to represent the Authority on 31 October at an event hosted by Police Scotland in Tulliallan to mark the end of Beyond Black History Month.
The event focused on the importance of celebrating Black and Minority Ethnic contributions to policing and the communities that policing serve. The success of Black History Month 2023 and the wide range of events and learning opportunities made available to officers and staff have been very well received. I want to extend my congratulations to Police Scotland and SEMPER Scotland for their efforts over the month and for organising such an uplifting event.
