The Scottish Police Authority has updated its PEEL Practice Compendium of information on policing practice from elsewhere in the UK. This update, adds to the Authority's compendium published in November 2024, growing the body of evidence, informing scrutiny and developing a foundation for knowledge exchange and learning.
This information aims to inform evidence-based learning across the policing system by reviewing examples assessed or referenced as effective or efficient operational policing practices from reports published by His Majesty's Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services (HMICFRS).
The compendium collates and analyses innovative practice as identified by HMICFRS in its PEEL Assessments of policing in England and Wales.
