A Public Appointments process is currently underway seeking a strategic leader who embraces change and is undaunted by uncertainty for the role of Chair of the Scottish Police Authority.
The current Chair, Martyn Evans will step down from his appointment term on 31 January 2025.
The Cabinet Secretary for Justice, Angela Constance MSP is looking for an experienced and skilled leader to take over, with a passion for improving public services, an ability to explain and account for the actions and decisions of the Authority and to build relationships with a range of organisations that work to support and strengthen policing and communities.
